When closed, sliding patio doors create a wall of glass, making the most of a view out and almost connecting the house and garden. Yet when open, they can provide a seamless transition between house and patio.

Why choose sliding doors?
With large glass panels and minimal frames, sliding doors are perfectly suited for extension, renovations and new build homes, particularly those with openings over 4 metres wide. The narrow sightlines enable the amount of glass to be maximised, ideal for making the most of the view or for increasing the amount of light you let in. Sliding doors are available in a range of configurations, from single panels sliding into a pocket up to 8-panel sets that transform an entire elevation.

Weather and thermal performance
Whilst the large glass panels of the SUNFLEX UK range of sliding doors help bring the outside in, there are times when it is beneficial to keep the outside weather out. Our sliding doors are independently tested to severe weather rating standards, achieving Class 3 for air permeability to provide advanced protection from drafts and rain. The doors can also achieve a wind load of up to 2400 Pa ensuring they are suitable for even the most exposed locations.
Our sliding doors also provide advanced thermal performance, achieving low U-values from just 1.2W/m²K double glazed to protection from heat-loss that far exceeds the requirements of Building Regulations.
