Due to the large area of glazing required Thames Valley Windows recommended that they install a combination of large SVG30 aluminium sliding doors (to provide fantastic access to the pool) and large fixed frames that terminate in an aluminium clad corner post to house the gym area.
The pool doors feature two central sliders with two fixed panels at each side, all located on the same track to deliver a seamless appearance. The sliding doors open onto a large part of the pool area on sunny days, with the track remaining completely flush to deliver a level floor finish both inside and out. The sliding doors are easy to operate in spite of their size. The installation includes frames powder coated with RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey with a marine-grade finish. The powder coating and finish were chosen due to the chemical environment.
Our partners, Thames Valley Windows, recommended the SVG30 system because of its narrow sightlines, permitting maximum light to enter the pool area. Opting for sliding doors enabled the homeowners to enjoy spectacular views of their garden and surrounding areas.
