The Sunflex UK door profile is of a modern contemporary design with square edge profiles to match in with the rest of our product range. Double or triple glazed systems are available achieving impressive thermal performance. Aluminum is a stronger more stable material than UPVc and offers slimmer sections, a contemporary look and a maintenance free option.

These elegant front or back doors will help keep out the elements and unwanted intruders. Open in or open out, weathered or low level track, these doors are suitable for a high traffic area, where a durable and reliable door is required.

Order these doors at the same time as your bifolding or sliding doors from the same supplier to help ensure project symmetry.

  • Marine painting process option - SUNFLEX UK ensures it's doors are given the best possible protection when being installed within 5000m of the coast/tidal estuary or around swimming pool/chemical environment, this is done by pre-fabricating the systems prior to painting, ensuring every cut edge or exposed machined slot or hole is painted to ensure maximum protection, of course a strict cleaning regime is also required to prevent salt build up but no company tries harder to ensure its products will stand up to such a harsh environment.
  • Door joints are double crimped and glued for increased strength and durability.
  • Weathered track for a rebated seal and excellent weather test results.
  • Low threshold for a neat detail and compliance to DDA (Document M). This does reduce the weather rating which is a compromise for this subtle detail. Varying sill projections available – see downloads for further information.
  • Horizontal mid-rail available which can incorporate a letter box (SAL only). When the door is divided horizontally an aluminium infill can be supplied in the bottom section for additional privacy.
  • All below tests carried out with the weathered track detail.

Secured by a five-lever Euro profile cylinder complying to BS3621 and British insurance requirements. Slave door appearance is kept neat without a handle as it is secured via hidden top and bottom finger bolts.
  • If not required ask for no key lock to the outside of the doors. Offers the doors a cleaner look externally and less opportunity for any potential burglar.
  • Internally glazed as standard preventing the glass being easily removed from the outside.
  • Toughened safety glass would be used as standard making this hard to smash but this can be upgraded to laminated security glass.
